This Illustration series was made with the intention of forming a connect across different pages (or screens) to bring uniformity to the overall experience as each individual illustration is a way to recall the narrative seen in others previously.
They can also be used to convey the subtle difference in characteristics of their associated products or subjects;
with the use of curated color and composition.
Let me walk you through the process!
These are the initial sketches. Just a girl engrossed in reading and her different postures on the furniture pieces.
At this point I was focusing on her carefree and absorbed body language to show she is very comfortable with her surroundings.
This step is my favorite in the process! I get to play with the lines, colors and shapes to explore variations.
This helps me gain clarity about the feeling I want the finalized illustration to communicate.

Multiple Colors
Here are the final Illustrations of this series. The elements of each scene portrayed- like the Girl's posture, her clothes, the colors of the rectangles in the background, and the furniture around her -stich together four different ambiences. The vibes portrayed through the four pictures are synonymous and the different props and arrangements help to contextualize and build different stories around each of them.
